Troupe
德国黑森州剧院是集话剧、歌剧、芭蕾、交响乐队、青年剧团为一体的综合性剧院，在欧洲享有盛誉。该院拥有550名艺术家和技术人员，所演剧目均为欧洲不同审美风格的经典力作。该院主办的两年一度的“欧洲新戏作品展”，是当今世界最重要的当代新戏艺术节。该团曾经两度应邀来华演出《生日宴会》，好评如潮。
Hessian
State Theatre in Wiesbaden, Germany is a complex theatre of drama,
opera, ballet, concert, and youth stage. With collaboration of
around 550 artists and technicians, the theatre produces European
classics in a wide range of artistic styles and thus enjoys a high
reputation in Europe. It is also the host of one of most world-wide
important contemporary drama festival, the biennial "New plays from
Europe".

Synopsis
《沃依采克》是德国著名的戏剧大师盖奥格·毕希纳的作品，由国际剧协主席曼弗雷德·拜尔哈茨博士亲自执导。故事是根据1821年发生在莱比锡的一起真实的刑事杀人案件改编的。毕希纳作为一名科学家和革命者，从这个简单的案例中看到了更深刻的社会问题。
《沃伊采克》第一次在欧洲戏剧里将一位被压迫者安排为悲剧的主人公；第一次以如此尖锐的形式，提出人的行动的定数和自由问题；第一次把蒙太奇当作舞台表演手段，绽放出惊心动魄的残酷的光。
Georg
Büchner did not finish his masterpiece Woyzeck when he passed away
at 24. But somehow the unfinished work was handed down through
centuries.
Woyzeck saw the firm time in European theatre that an
oppressed person was treated as the protagonist in a tragedy by
dealing with the issue on the limitation of freedom of human actions
in a poignant form, and obtaining a soul stirring and cruel effects
through montage on stage.
