Brief Introduction to the
Troupe
重庆市川剧院始建于1957年，以“出人、出戏、出精品”为战略发展理念，造就了大批艺术骨干，是一个生气勃勃且极富生命力的国家级戏曲剧院。
重庆市川剧院作为传承传统文化的先驱，足迹遍及北京、上海、南京、深圳等全国各大城市，并前后赴波兰、美国、法国、瑞士、德国等国进行文化交流与商业演出。
Chongqing
Sichuan Opera Theatre was established in 1957. With the development
strategy as “attracting talents, creating new works and focusing on
selected works" it has trained large quantities of outstanding
artists and grows into a vitalized and creative national opera
theatre.
As a pioneer of inheriting traditions, Chongqing Sichuan
Opera Theatre has visited most of large Chinese cities, such as
Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, etc., and gave guest
performances either on official or commercial status in Poland,
U.S., France, Switzerland and Germany and so
on.

Synopsis
本剧改编自曹禺话剧《原野》，在原著基础上，创造性地以新的立意、新的视角、新的开掘、新的手法和形式，表现了女主人公金子的人生轨迹，围绕爱恨情仇的复杂漩涡与复仇反复仇的剧烈碰撞，折射出人性的变异与回归。
The
play is adapted from Cao Yu’s drama “Prairie”. Based on the original
drama, it creatively re-interprets the life track of the heroine Jin
Zi: the entanglement of love and hate, the violent collision among
revenges, reflecting the variation and restoration of human nature
from a new perspective with new skills and
forms.
