Troupe
中国国家话剧院于2001年12月25日在中国青年艺术剧院和中央实验话剧院的基础上组建成立。
中国国家话剧院以创作和演出高质量、高品位的中外优秀话剧为己任，集中了一批优秀的舞台艺术人才和影视艺术人才，是一个继承传统、努力进取、积极探索、追求高水准话剧表演艺术、创造话剧艺术精品的基地。
National
Theatre Company of China was established in 25 December 2001 by
combining the National Youth Theatre and the Central Experimental
Drama Theatre.
National Theatre Company of China assumes
creating and performing high-standard and artistic dramas as its own
mission. It is considered as the base of developing performing arts
and drama creation in China for its persistent endeavor in
inheriting traditions and exploring new
forms.

Synopsis
这是一个具有诗人气质的青年，天真任性、爽直磊落。
他鄙视贪生怕死、鄙视阴谋诡计。
他崇尚顶天立地的英雄气概，崇尚坦荡悲壮的生命终结。
他把人格看得比胜利更重，等待他的，却是失败与死亡……
这便是《霸王歌行》中仰天长歌的西楚霸王——项羽。
There
was a young man with poet personality, innocent, wild and
frank.
He despised cowardice and deception.
He admired heroes
and preferred a life that may be tragic but pure.
He valued
nobility rather than triumph, thus he failed and died……
This man
is Xiangyu, the overlord of Xichu, who lifted his face to the sky
and song loudly in The Legend of the
Overlord”.
